Sinister activities occur at a private club in this early who-done-it by Mary Roberts Rinehart from 1910. Rinehart wrote over 30 novels and many more articles and short stories. While her writing covered a wide range, she is best remembered for her mystery stories. The Window at the White Cat was her second novel and mystery story, following The Circular Staircase that established her career and fame.
